The Story: I was unschooled with no education at age 9
A Perseverance and Determined soul never fails.
Steve W. Collins is a young Liberian who spent over 9years in exile because of the Liberia 14years civil crisis, coming back home from exile not even knowing ABC, simply means coming back to his country uneducated or unschooled and at the age of nine. He started schooling and with the aid of his parents who supported him, especially with moral and motivational education. He was able to elevate the inner courage that he was raised like others and even more than then. And he took the challenge after many years of Intense study to secure a decent space for himself in society, He firstly made his way to his County, Grand Gedeh Debate Team to represent the County in the Liberia National Debate Championship in 2019.
In that same period of time, he was appointed as the president of all High schools in Grand Gedeh County, Republic of Liberia and in that year 2019, he won the championship in the country. A year later, he was appointed as the captain of the County Debate Team and led the team to a competition where they emerged as the third Winner. Today, he is a student with many certificates of achievement; he won the National Essay Competition in Liberia organized by Students of Liberty, he won as one of the Top 10 best poets in the European Union in Liberia poetry competition and he won as the Most Valuable Quizzer in his school inter-class Quizzing league.
Steve never allowed his late education to restrict him. He never saw himself as a less privileged individual instead, if motivated his was to the top.
